1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Creators S uck At Taxes LLC governing your access to and use of the website scofiabarrk.com and all content on it (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our privacy policy, cookie policy and disclaimer, each incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Site.

This is the most important term on the page.

All content on the Site — text, guides, glossary entries, layout, design, graphics, code, the Scof Iabarrk name and logo — is owned by Creators S uck At Taxes LLC or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. Except as set out in section 4, no rights are granted to you.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, write to info@scofiabarrk.com identifying the material, the work you say it infringes, your contact details, and a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised. We investigate all such notices.

7. Your submissions

If you send us feedback, a correction, a question or a topic suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use it to improve the Site and to develop content, without obligation of confidentiality, attribution or compensation. Please do not send us confidential information, personal financial details or anything you are not free to share.

8. Third-party links and advertising

The Site links to third-party websites and displays third-party advertising. We do not control third-party content and do not endorse, guarantee or take responsibility for it, for the products or services offered, or for the accuracy of any claim made in an advertisement.

Advertising is how the Site is funded. It has no influence on editorial content — see our advertising disclosure. Rules and thresholds referred to in our guides change, and vary by jurisdiction.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US$100).

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Orange County, California, for the resolution of any such dispute, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.

15. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
  • Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms create no rights for anyone other than you and us.
  • Headings. Section headings are for convenience only.
